Run on future publications or existing content

In the run dialog, choose When new content is published. This activates the automation for the next matching publication and future matching publications. It does not send existing content. Existing update triggers remain enabled.

This is useful when you want to finish setup now and let the next published post start the workflow.

Choose Use existing content, then select a source record from the picker. Confirm the choice and run. Drumbeat creates communications from that record using the saved channels and schedule. The schedule may include an immediate first item and later follow-ups.

Check the chosen record’s content and URLs first. An existing draft or private record should not be treated as publication-ready simply because it is selectable.

A manual run can create a new series. Check Last run and Created communications on the card before running the same record again. Waiting for future publications is ongoing activation, not a one-time selection of the most recent record.
