Prepare the file

#

Use a CSV with a header row and one subscriber per row. Include email and any supported name, company, and list fields you want to map. Check that addresses and characters are represented correctly before uploading. Keep the original file as a reference.

Upload and map

#
  1. Open the subscriber CSV import controls.
  2. Select your CSV and review detected columns.
  3. Match CSV columns to the displayed subscriber fields.
  4. Select or create a destination list where offered.
  5. Begin the import and wait for progress feedback.

Resolve duplicates

#

Review Possible Duplicates shows existing and incoming values. Choose the appropriate update or ignore action rather than assuming every row should replace an existing record. Review bulk actions carefully when several rows share the same issue.

Check the summary

#

The import summary reports processed rows, new subscribers, updates, duplicate decisions, email/company changes, and invalid rows. Compare these counts with the source file. Correct skipped rows and re-import only what still needs attention.
