The four setup steps
- Activate license: verify your licensing email and key.
- Choose features: select CRM, Automations, Partners, Communications, and Campaigns as needed.
- Automatic updates: choose whether WordPress should install available Drumbeat updates automatically. Multisite installations may require network-level update management.
- Ready to go: review your choices and select Complete Setup.
Skip and return later
After license activation, every remaining step offers Skip the Setup Wizard. Your progress is saved. Use Complete Guided Setup on the Drumbeat Dashboard or Settings page to resume.
Until you complete or skip setup, opening Drumbeat returns you to the current step. Deactivating and reactivating an unfinished installation launches setup again, even if it was previously skipped.
Understand what feature choices do
Feature switches control navigation visibility. Hiding a feature does not delete its records, revoke permissions, or stop scheduled work. Pause or change active campaigns and automations in their own screens when you want to stop them.
